Avoiding Foreclosure Update 2012

Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, Inc. will be holding a mortgage foreclosure training, entitled Avoiding Foreclosure Update 2012, on June 12, 2012 at the Hilton Harrisburg Hotel, One North Second Street, Harrisburg, PA.

Here are some highlights of the event:

  • This training is offered to legal services staff and housing counselors at no cost, including meals and CLE credits.
  • Private attorneys handling at least one pro bono foreclosure case in 2012 may also attend the training free of charge.
  • Travel to and from the event, and some hotel accommodations for housing counselors and legal services staff will be paid by PLAN, Inc. from funding under the NeighborWorks grant.
  • A limited number of hotel rooms are available at no cost to attendees traveling a significant distance to attend the training.
  • Attorneys attending the entire training will receive five CLE credits.
Family Law Training

The Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network (PLAN) Family Law Group will be holding a training program on June 14, 2012 in State College, Pennsylvania.

Registration:
Registration is free to all Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network staff, client representatives and board representatives; and for PCADV program staff.

Registration for all other registrants is $150.00.

Registration includes lunch, morning and afternoon snacks and all training materials.

The 2012 Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network Conference is tentatively scheduled for September 11-12, 2012 at the Hilton Harrisburg located at One North Second Street in Harrisburg.
