North Penn Legal Services (NPLS), in partnership with Educational Opportunities Centers of PA, is presenting a free Expungement and Clean Slate Clinic at the Mohegan Pennsylvania Convention Center in Wilkes-Barra, PA on March 12, 2024. The clinic will be held at Mohegan Pennsylvania Convention Center, 1280 Highway 315, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702. This is located adjacent to the hotel on the property.

There will be a morning presentation by NPLS on Expungement and Clean Slate 3.0 Law, and afternoon Individual appointments with NPLS for those who pre-registered to assess eligibility and, when possible, draft paperwork and petitions.

The clinic is open to:

• People interested in understanding the Clean Slate Process for themselves or a family member
• Professionals from organizations interested in learning more so they can assist their clientele
• Students from colleges and universities
• High School students interested in pursuing a profession in the legal and criminal justice fields

You must register to attend before March 7, 2024.

Schedule:

9-10 -- Registration/Check in of attendees

• 10:00 PM-12:00 AM -- Presentation by North Penn Legal Services regarding Clean Slate 3.0 Law
• 12:00 AM to 1:30 PM -- Attendees break for lunch-visit info booths
• 1:30 PM-5:00 PM -- Individual appointments for registrants with legal staff from North Penn Legal Services to review cases and complete paperwork
