Join the presenters for an engaging session on the topic of utility rights and assistance programs, either virtually on Zoom or in-person at the library. This informative session will delve into the essential rights consumers have regarding utility services and explore various assistance programs available in Pennsylvania to support those in need. Whether you’re a consumer seeking assistance or an advocate for your community, this presentation promises to be educational for all.

The presenters for this program will be Gio Brackbill from the Pennsylvania Utility Law Project & Attorney Stephanie Wolak-Fleming from North Penn Legal Services

Thanks to a generous grant from the Pennsylvania IOLTA Board, North Penn Legal Services is able to provide free legal clinics and other services in rural communities of Northeast Pennsylvania.

Included in the 2024 series will be this program on the topic of Utility Rights & Assistance Programs, presented by staff from our Williamsport Office.

North Penn Legal Services, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, that provides free civil legal assistance to low-income families individuals, and groups in Northeast Pennsylvania and promotes equal access to justice for all. Services include individual representation (ranging from document preparation to litigation), information, referral and advice through a telephone helpline, community legal education, and support for those clients who will be taking responsibility for handling some or all aspects of their own problem.

PA IOLTA Board. The core mission of the Pennsylvania Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Accounts (IOLTA) Board is to support the provision of civil legal services to the Commonwealth’s poor and disadvantaged. The IOLTA Board is a not-for-profit organization operating under the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
